The University of Malta traces its origins to the Collegium Melitense, founded by the Jesuits in 1592 and raised to university status in 1769. Today it is the country’s leading higher-education institution, bringing together teaching, research and international academic exchange across the arts, sciences and humanities.

Msida Campus
The main campus at Tal-Qroqq houses most faculties, institutes and centres. It is also the venue for Embodied Lives.
